Sermon Notes
Howard Taylor.
(Last updated June 2009)
Please be patient.
This section of my Web pages is only now really getting under way.
For about a year there were only five sermons uploaded.
Now there are sixty one.

I hope that soon some preachers and Bible teachers many find these pages a useful resource.
If you do find any of the notes helpful, please let me know. (We all need some encouragement!)

Most of us use commentaries. I have been greatly helped, in some of the sermons listed below, by Derek Kidner's brief but telling commentaries. Those who are familiar with his writings may recognise some of his wording in some of the sermon notes.

Similarly Roy Clements' messages have been useful in providing me with some ideas for a few of the messages. This is so even though many of us are sorry about how his personal life has developed.

A few illustrations are owed to 'The Bible Illustrator'.

Having made these acknowledgements I have to say that, like all writers, consciously and unconsciously, I learn from others but cannot remember everyone from whom I have learnt things.

Remember these are notes so don't always expect full sentences or good grammar or even good spelling. Please remember too that British spelling is not the same as American spelling!

The Lord's Prayer.
Some Psalms.

Stories of the Patriarchs.

Miscellaneous.

Good Friday.

Easter Sunday and the Easter Season.
